Mary Hosokawa is the Family Representative for
California Healthy and Ready to Work, a USC University
Affiliated Program. She is a founding member of the
San Gabriel Valley Chapter of the Autism Society and
served as its president for five years. She has a B.A.
in Political Science from UCLA and worked for many
years as an employee benefits counselor for a utility
company. She is currently the liaison for the
Community Advisory Committee of the West San Gabriel
Valley SELPA and serves as a parent consultant to the
Regional Center and general 'provocateur' to the local
school district. She is the mother of two sons with
autism, ages 14 and 11.
