508 SITE TAKES OWN ADVICE
   The header above was taken from a recent edition of Government
Computer News. According to the article the GSA Center of IT Accommodation
sets the standard for the government compliance with the 508 regulations.
Well, the article also said that when the web site was launched it did not
comply with the 508 regulations that the government
itself was try to comply with. An irony there - but the errors
have been rectified. Said the GSA spokesperson "We are trying to focus on
different types of users and tailor the site to the users' needs."
