EASI's May, month-long online courses including multimedia course previews
http://easi.cc/workshop.htm

EASI courses are taught by experienced online instructors who are
themselves users of the technology or who work side-by-side with users.
EASI courses have reached more than 4,000 participants in over 40
countries. The courses extend for 4 weeks and are entirely given over the
Internet--no expensive travel and no time away from work. EASI courses
translate technical content into non-technical language for computer users
who are not technicians.

Online registration and syllabi are at the links provided below.
The multimedia clips below to preview each course require your having

1 Barrier-free E-learning: http://easi.cc/workshops/bfel.htm
Many courses or portions of most courses are online. With proper design,
students with disabilities have a more level learning space than ever
before. With the wrong design, these students suffer new and needless
barriers to their education. For a video preview of some of the course
material, go to

2 Accessible Internet Multimedia: http://easi.cc/workshops/advwbsyl.htm
The Internet has become a multimedia delivery system, and faculty and
content providers want to enhance their content by including multimedia.
With the use of accessible design, people who are deaf can have
transcriptions of audio, and people who are blind can get descriptions of
videos. Creating multimedia is becoming easier, but it is takes time and
know-how. Making it fully accessible is both time-intensive and requires
some know-how about using accessibility features. For a multimedia preview
of some course material, go to

3 Business Benefits of Accessible IT Design:
http://easi.cc/workshops/bbaitsyl.htm
Although many businessmen care deeply about people with needs, their
primary business obligation is to make a profit for owners and
shareholders. This course explains how that accessible IT design costs
less than many fear and demonstrates ways it will enhance the business
itself. The features to provide access for people with disabilities make
IT more accessible for people with different IT technologies, with
different languages and from different cultures. For a video preview of
the course material, go to http://easi.cc/media/ideal.ram
