This is a very interesting and timely subject . The big question seems to
revolve around access in the purest form and the level of access. No mater
what is done, there will always be those that you will not be able to
please. What needs to be looked at regarding this question about access. I
suggest the needs of your particular community. In other words, look for
ways to find out what kinds of services are needed and then take a look at
access issues. What one library does to provide access might not be what
another library will and can do. I think the real  crux is talking  to
those in the community that are physically disabled and others in the
disabled community. You might be surprised at some of the answers.
Communication is the key to access.
