The School of Information and Library Studies at the University at
Buffalo, an accredited library school, will be offering two Internet
Distance Learning classes:
(Management of Library and Information Agencies
http://www.sils.buffalo.edu/faculty/ellison/Syllabi/581/581syllabus.html
and
Marketing of Information Services
http://www.sils.buffalo.edu/faculty/ellison/Syllabi/531/531syllabus.html)
during the Fall Semester of 1998.

*For detailed information regarding the courses, cost and who can
register, go to our Distance Learning Web Page at:
http://www.sils.buffalo.edu/faculty/ellison/distance.html

*Students will be able to take these courses in the privacy of their
homes, office, local library or any location with a computer connected
to the Internet. Specific times and days are not as rigidly adhered to
in Distance Learning courses so students can work these courses around
their busy work, home and personal schedules. Exchanging and sharing
information takes place on the class WebBulletinBoard (WBB), Chat Room
and CD-ROMs. Students from any point on the globe can take this course.

*For information regarding either course, contact Dr. John Ellison at
[log in to unmask] or (716) 326-6915.
