All microform readers enlarge the fiche. The key is in how small the reduction was when the items were filmed. We have a zoom lens on our readers which magnifies 50X. Most microfiche is filmed at 24x reduction, so this more than doubles the original size. Another option would be to have a staff member make a paper copy of the required pages and either enlarge using a CCTV or by making enlarged paper copies.

Hi All

I have received this message from a collegue in the Librarys
collection organisation section. It relates to one of their staff
with a vision impairment who uses Zoomtext but is having trouble in
gaining easy access to Library of Congress subject headings - does
anyone have any ideas, is there an electronic version??? or other
methods of accessing this.
