3  Thursday March 2 Larry Scadden interviews Martha Absher from Duke
University. Martha
received one of the first Presidential awards for Mentoring in science,
engineering and math. Martha is the director of outreach for the school of
engineering at Duke. She also served in one of the National Science
Foundation's research centers as director of outreach. Martha talks about
many of the projects she has lead in the area of diversity and access to
science, engineering and math.

5  Thursday March 9, interview with Thomas Dowling from OhioLINK a
consortium of over 60 academic libraries in Ohio.  OhioLINK is an online
interface to digital resources.  They have deliberately worked to make
their online materials accessible to patrons with disabilities.

6  American Council for the Blind (ACB) has begun broadcasting on the
Internet items related to the interests of people who are blind.  The site
hosts both live webcasts and a growing archive of multimedia materials.

7  Workshop announcement: March 13 begins the next online workshop on
making schools and colleges information and computer systems accessible to
students with disabilities.  With computers penetrating the entire campus,
this is increasingly urgent.
