EASI's new webcast is an interview with Dick and Greg Banks about an
advanced web design online workshop starting in April:
http://www.rit.edu and select either workshop archive or site index.

There are a host of new, advanced web tools adding new, exciting features
to the web. Many of these, like Flash, are not yet accessible. Others
require special treatment to make them accessible to users of adaptive
technologies. The workshop assumes a basic knowledge of HTML and of the
simpler accessible tools. Both workshops build around both the
guidelines of the Web Access Initiative and of the Access Board's 508
standards for web design.

The sooner designers begin adopting accessible features, the less will they
have to retrofit after the fact.
