Online course: Unscrambling WCAG 2.0 Web Standards for Non-technical Designers

Barrier-free Web Design is a month-long online course created and provided
by EASI (Equal Access to Software and Information) and it's next offering
begins Monday, June 6, 2011.

Do you have trouble reading computer and software manuals? EASI will take
the jargon out of Web design and out of the technical requirements for Web
accessibility. This course will make creating accessible Web pages easier
than you think!

The Web Content Accessible Guidelines, (WCAG 2.0), are organized under 4
major principles, and this course follows that format.

Principle 1 Perceivable

Principle 2 Operable
Principle 3 Understandable
Principle 4 Robust

The course will help you master the concepts organized under these
principles in the WCAG 2.0. It will includes some hands-on exercises which
previous students have requested. It will also demonstrate how some of the
accessibility toolbars will greatly help you evaluate the accessibility of
Web pages as well as assisting you in making repairs.

Registration for this course is $350 with a 20% discount for EASI ANnual
Members. Read more and register online from:
