No I did not find a button that said that. It's almost seven p.m. on Monday here. Is it Tuesday or Sunday there; I always get confused? Kathie

HI Katherine,
Norm said the same thing. Did you find the text "Live help now online"?

If not, I'll raise it with our webmaster who will sort it out. We don't have many sight impaired people at our university at present, or at least no tame ones that I can ask to test things out. I try to put myself in their shoes but I haven't developed the special skills that sight impaired people need.

By the way, what time is it in Wisconsin?

Regards,
Susan

I tried. Since I'm blind and use a screen reader, telling me it is the green button isn't the best. I assume it is the button on the screen that doesn't have a good name; e.g. its alt text tag is just a string of random letters and numbers? You might want to get that changed if you can. Best. Hi again,
So far I've tried Live Person on Microsoft's accessibility narrator, and it works for both the operator and the inquirer (I was both).

I'm operating it right now, and for the next 40 minutes when someone else will log in; we only have one seat at present. If you want to try it out it's the green button on this website: http://www.swinburne.edu.au/lib/

but you'll have to hurry and of course most of you are probably asleep right now.

Regards,
Susan
