Just a suggestion, but why not cancel the print subscription and get the
electronic (web) subscription.

It costs $140 / year for institutions.  See details at:
http://www.igc.org/afb/jvib.html

If it's in electronic format then, in theory -- I haven't actually tried
this myself, issues could be listened to with voice output or printed out in
paper or in Braille at their own workstations.

Hello,

This is not necessarily an access question, but I would like to receive
your comments/opinions about making a specific journal available in
Braille.

Our Library has a print subscription to the "Journal of Visual Impairment
& Blindness", and we understand that there is also a Braille version. One
of our faculty members suggested that we purchase the Braille version,
in addition to our regular subscription.

We have one professor, one student and an incoming student (2001-2002
academic year) who are blind.  I have discussed this with the Director of
our Disability Resources Office and he said it would be nice to have, but
did not feel it is necessary.

Please let me know what you think.
