Hi everyone:

It is with great pleasure that I announce the latest addition to the
African Community and to AWA in particular.  Brigitte and Yazon Gnoumou are
the new proud parents of Bowassan Candra Jannell (baby girl) born on
Sunday, January 6, 2003 at 11:08 pm.  Bowassan is still in the Intensive
Care Unit at St. Mary's Hospital  and will remain there for at least four
more weeks.   Brigitte is recovering in the same hospital, obviously, on
the second floor in room 2515.  She will be leaving tomorrow evening
(Thursday).  Congratulations Gnoumous and Godspeed.
