Very well said and thanks. Deliverance is a colorful word, but during the process the devil is discovered in the details. Let us watch to see how the details unfold.

We who come from third world countries and especially countries with dictatorships know that one man's idea of deliverance does not always mean deliverance for the people it was intended. In most cases, they just change bondage from one regime to another. In the case of Iraq, with such a diverse population of Muslims, only time will tell what type of deliverance they got in the end.

The Iraqi people are descendants of Ishmael, one of the sons of Abraham (the father of many nations). The God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob promised to bless Abraham's children. The people of Iraq have cried out for deliverance. God heard, and sent deliverance from their bondage. They need a people not afraid of their leader, a people not afraid of what the world believes, a people willing to lay down their lives to help someone else.
