Dear AAM friends,
After rehearsing tonight with Habib Iddrisu, Edi Gbordzi and the other Ghana drummers as well as the Aseye! ensemble, I can guarantee you that you and your family members will love this concert of Ghana music and dancing. So much African talent to grace a Madison stage without it being a commercial touring group. Fanti, Ga, Dagomba, Ewe, Ashanti, Scottish, Jewish, English, etc. I have dreamed for years of having such a group on this campus for community and university alike to enjoy and learn about African cultures. Please join us Tuesday, April 8, at 7:30 in Mills Concert Hall. Tickets are free and can be held for you if you call 263-3409. Hope to see you there.
Claudia ( Akosua)
