Hi everyone,

You are invited to listen and participate on the ALEX REDD SHOW this
Friday,September 27, at 4pm on 91.7 FM in Madison,Wisconsin.

Master-Sergeant John Connor of the Public Affairs Division of the U.S.
Army in Washington, D.C. is expected to meet with Alex Redd, the host
of the show, to discuss the mission of the U.S. Army officer at
University of Wisconsin this week.

It is widely speculated that the main purpose of Master-Sergeant John
Connor's visit at UW-madison is to persuade students in the fields of
journalism and English to join the U.S. military.

To participate on this show, please call the studio line at (608)262-
9786. Better still, listen to the live broadcast of the show at
www.wisc.edu/wsum-radio.
The Alex Redd show, is a public affair program that weekly features
faculty members and staff, student organizations as well as leaders of
various Madison groups.

In a related development, an invitation has been extended to
Wisconsin's incumbent governor, Scott McCallum and democratic nominee
for governor, Jim Doyle to debate on hot-button issues confronting the
state; ranging from budget deficit, tax relief, public education and
health care, etc. This anticipated forum will give equal opportunity to
both candidates to reach out to the larger population of students at UW
and the Madison community at large.

Thanks in advance,
Alex Redd
