The Executive Committee of the African Association of Madison, Inc. has
appointed the following members to serve on the Electoral Committee:

1.  Peter Amakobi
2.  Bill Bosu
3.  Aminata Conteh, and
4.  Ben Weller

The Electoral Committee, duly constituted, and acting in accordance with
Article 10, Section 9, of the constitution, hereby invites nominations
for the following offices:

1.  Vice President
2.  Secretary
3.  Financial Secretary
4.  Treasurer

Election Day is December 5, 1998.  Please note that Article VI, Section
7 stipulates that the current vice president succeeds the current
president; thus, there will be no nominations for the office of the
president
