Hello and welcome to this special invitation.

The African Studies Program at the University of Wisconsin--Madison has grown over the years with more diverse academic programs and events that have attracted the attention of many students, scholars as well as administrators who have great interests in the study of African literature, language, culture and history, including political, social and economical issues.

What has been the strengths of the African Studies Program in alliance with the university community and beyond. For these and many more, I am proud to introduce the main brain behind the success of the program at UW-Madison.

Dr. Aliko Songolo, Director of the African Studies Program, will appear live on WSUM-RADIO 91.7FM this Friday, April 11 at 4:00PM to discuss activities of his program on The ALEX REDD TALK SHOW.

This will be an opportunity to hear lot of news and information about the many African issues, programs, events and activities that Dr. Songolo and his staff members have offered over the years.

If you would like to participate, please call the direct studio line at 608-265-9786 with questions.

Don't miss it!

Thanks for listening.
