NIGERIAN MISSION TO THE UN HAS A NEW WEBSITE




The Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the United Nations, New York, has
concluded the construction of its website =96 www.nigerianmission.org .



Constructed to better serve a growing demand for up-to-date and accurate
information about Nigeria=92s expanding role in world affairs, the website=
 is
a compendium of information about Nigeria=92s contributions on such issues=
 as
Peace Keeping, the Environment, International Law, Social Development, Women
and Children and Human Rights.



The Site=92s Archives contain statements by Nigeria at UN Committees
meetings, the General Assembly as well as the Security Council on various
issues of human endeavour, since her admission to the United Nations in=
 1960.



A visitor to the site will also be treated to complete information on the
G-77 and China and its activities, while a Notice Board informs the visitor
of coming events involving the Mission.
