CHANCES TO TALK WITH THE MAYOR

UW students, and other members of the Madison community, are invited to meet
and talk with Mayor Susan J.M. Bauman at the UW Memorial Union next Monday,
November 13, from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Check the "Today in the Union" bulletin
board for specific room assignment.

Next Monday's event is the third in a series of ten (10) opportunities that
have been scheduled in coming weeks for citizens to talk with the mayor.
Locations throughout the city were selected in order to afford the greatest
possible opportunity for Madison residents to meet and talk with the mayor
about the issues that are of concern to them.

The events are also scheduled for different times of day for the greater
convenience for Madison residents who wish to attend. Hopefully every
Madison resident will have an opportunity to participate in one or more of
these events.

Other places where Mayor Bauman will be talking with citizens in coming
weeks include the new Alicia Ashman Branch and Hawthorne Branch libraries,
