The African Association of Madison will be hosting an 'All African
Children's Forum', come February 2001. This is part of the 2001 Executive's
desire to pay special attention to our children. It is an opportunity for
the children to mingle and get acquainted with each other. It will also be
an opportunity for us to ask, first hand, what the children expect from the
African Association of Madison.  The plan at this point is to invite the
children to lunch or dinner. Specifics will worked out and communicated to
families later.  The event will be financed wholly by the Executive
Committee and private donors.
If you are a member of AAM with a child/children 5 to 15 years of age who
will like to participate in this event please sign him/her up. This is
simply to assess cost and space and will allow us send the child a special
