Hello everyone! This is Cynthia Adams, now a producer at
Wisconsin Public Radio. With the help of highly esteemed WPR
Veteran producer, Carmen Jackson, I have produced a program
focused on what Wisconsinites think about the July 11th New YorkTimes article, which included the results of the nation-wide Race
Poll. This article states that "Black and White Americans remain
largely isolated from each other in daily life and have starkly
divergent views on many racial issues". The nation-wide poll
interviewed 934 blacks and 1,107 whites throughout the country
between June 21 and 29.

Kevin Sack, the writer of the article, will be the guest of BEN
MERENS, who is hosting during KATHLEEN DUNN's regular
afternoon drive program (broadcast live from WHAD in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin). This program, will air live on Friday, July 14th, at
4:00pm. The is a one hour call-in talk program, which can be
heard by tuning in to:

Madison -WHA 970 AM

Highland - WHHI 91.3 FM

Milwaukee -WHAD 90.7 FM

or on the internet at www.wpr.org, click on the Ideas Network
button.

We want and need to hear from you!!! The call-in number from
anywhere in Wisconsin is: 1-800-486-8655 to express your
opinions about the New York Times Race Poll results, as well
as your views on race relations in Wisconsin, and the nation.

I am willing to forward the article to anyone who has not seen it, via
e-mail. My address is: [log in to unmask]

This is a great opportunity to let your voice be heard and we look
forward to hearing from you!

Thanks, --Cynthia Adams
