Last March I wrote the list and asked about information tying CD with
malformation in children's teeth. I got lots of great information and
support, and to this I thank all of you again. I took the information I
had and presented it to my daughter's pediatric dentist, her pediatric
GI and my ex-husband. She had already had the IGG and IGA blood tests,
positive for one (the one that often comes with a false positive) and
negative for the other. Looking at her blood tests, her damaged and weak
teeth and the information I received from all of you, we all decided she
needed to be biopsed to rule out the CD and we decided to wait until
school got out.
I wanted all of you to know that her biopsy was on Wednesday and went
very well. The doctor said it looked normal, but he would give us a call
when he got the results. He called today to inform us that she does not
have Celiac, YEAH! I am still alone in eating gf, but luckily for her,
she can continue to grow up normally with her classmates.
Thanks again,
Krista
