I thought the list might be interested in this. Interesting, but not a lot
that's heavily helpful. The conclusion is that this new factor can be
controlled by a GF diet :) Gee! Wonder how many of us already knew that? -vance

Celiac disease linked to reversible downregulation of e-cadherin and
  BETA-CATENIN
  Expression of E-cadherin and beta-catenin is downregulated in celiac
  disease, and these changes appear to be mediated by certain cytokines that
  influence cadherin transcription, researchers in England report in the
  December 1999 issue of Laboratory Investigation.
