I don't have a taste for coffee and I probably develop this personal
distaste for coffee because I couldn't handle a hot cup. I say this because
my family smoked (parents and younger sister.) I couldn't handle a paper
match and I was afraid of being alone and craving a cigarette. Sounds crazy!
I can handle wooden matches with no problem. At my synagogue, whenever I
have to light the candles, I would bring a box of matches. Now they have
wooden matches at the bema.

I can really relate to the coffee spills! I would give anything if I could
bring a hot
beverage into my "office" but I don't dare! The rims of travel mugs are too
thick for me
and/or they keep liquids too hot. Hot drinks and straws don't work for me
either. I can
handle a cold beverage in a tall glass but I haven't found a solution for
hot
drinks.

Have a story to share. Our sons called my poor coordination "scribbling".
We
lived near
my large family and my husband's very close family until the boys were 6 and
7.
Most of
our social life was with family. Shortly after we moved, one of my
husband's
coworkers
invited us to dinner. Our young sons were obviously distressed about
something
and they
didn't want to go. Finally we got them to tell us what had them so upset.
They
were
afraid this lady wasn't a very good cook. After all, she didn't even
scribble!
