Hello.

I have the Netgear/BayNetworks dual-switching 100/10Mbit 4-port hub, DS-104.

I bought this 2 months ago, and the contacts for port1 are already intermittant.
I first assumed the port had died, but gently wiggling the connector has
regained the connection.

Are these hubs poorly made? It didn't seem so, esp. b/c the RJ-45 connectors
attach nice & snug.

Is there anything I can do to maximize the connection between port and UTP
connector? Perhaps better wires?

Thanks.

David
