In response to the post on eating earthworms, I'll add my 2 cents. I
used to work on an organic vegetable farm, back in my neolithic days.
The owner used to make us do a lot of hand weeding of carrots. I used to
always find slugs in the soil or attached to the smaller carrots we'd be
thinning out. The boss would insist on eating a slug a day. He said
it made his own root more potent. He has 6 kids, one wife and two
girlfriends (ssshhhhh!!!!).

Cheers!
