BTW, good old Aussie beef is pasture fed for the local market. Less than 2%
of it is grain fed (over 100 days in an accredited feedlot the officials
tell me) and 60% of this is exported. I think you'll find that most export
Aussie beef is grain-fed not pasture fed unless so labelled.
Argentine beef tends to be pasture fed I once read- if you're interested do
a search on www.metacrawler.com or your favourite search engine.
