Hi everyone,
I guess I need to vent a bit...Do any of you feel that because of your
disability people are "nice" to you at first and seem friendly, but then
basically drop off the face of the earth? I ask this because I have
been talking with a local guy via AOL IM and on the phone. He was very
aware of my having cp before I ever gave him my number. Then today, out
of the blue, he says he doesn't want to talk to me anymore but won't
give me a reason. I've drawn my own conclusions...It all just
infuriates me because I am sick of people saying they are ok with the
fact that I have cp but they are really not. Heck, I am human, with
feelings - don't LIE to me! This has happened to me more than once in
my childhood and now in my adult life. I do have many good friends who
truely don't care about my cp, but I am sick of these other FALSE
people, ya know?
Ok, I'm done venting now!
Linda
