the office i'd be in is not far from the river walk. we have also been doing
some comparisons of schoold districs using yahoo real estate site. it
compares sat score averges, act scores (i did not know the act test was
still being used) percentages of graduating students that go on to college,
pupil to teacher ratios. pretty good comparisons online. we found that alamo
heights seems be a good school distric to be in. the distric on the other
side if i35? inside of i-410 was comparable but, i can not remember the name
of the area.
we are trying to be prepared to make a decision if there is a decision to
make. atlanta's trafic and smog make san antonio look great in comparison.

Ken,
Ft Worth is about 220 miles north of SA. I grew up in SA and my Mom
lives there. It's the nicest city in Texas, very historic and a truly
unique culture(Anglo, Hipanic, Military and remnants of the Wild West). The
river
walk is out off this world, although it really isn't a river by our
standards.
More like a winding canal.
