kyle, i'd have never gueessed it. i'd take some of the statements in the
prophets and psalms differenly from your rabbis. maybe they lost something
in translation from hebrew to english.

That's interesting. I had never heard this as a Judaistic dogma. Can you
give a Talmudic reference? My neighbors are Israeli and Elizabeth knows
Talmudic tradition pretty well. Wouldn't be Rabbi Hillel, would it? As I
understand, there's currently quite a bit of controversy surrounding some of
his teachings.
Just curious.
