Okay, went to the doctor yesterday. He spent about 30 minutes with me,
asking questions, answering questions, and showing me a pump. Gads, the
thing is HEAVY. Anyways, he's going to contact 10 people and I'll filter
questions through him to get some feedback on the pump.

My appointment for getting the test dose is Friday at 9am. I'll be observed
for 6-8 hours. If this dose doesn't work, then it's another appointment
where they double the dose of baclofen, and if that doesn't work, I'm not a
canidate.

As for the 90 day space between filling up the pump, it can range from 30
to 90 days depending on the amount of dosage you're getting. And the pump
now lasts up to 7 years, before it has to be replaced. The battery is built
INTO the pump, and THAT is why the pump has to be replaced, the battery
dies.

Even if they find that the dose of baclofen works for me, I'm STILL
undecided on whether to do this. I'm going to not make a quick decision,
and will decide this summer whether or not to go through with it.

Dana
