This subject comes up, as you might imagine, from time to time on the St.
John's
 Polio-Life list.  Despite a new book on the subject, the most recent and
well researched opinion appears to be that there is no known connection
between HIV and the polio vac.  But we've been discussing the possibility
for years.

That said, as someone with progressive post-polio muscular atrophy, I have a
new respect for the long term effects of vaccines in general, grouping
several cultures into one vaccine and the damage to the immune system that
is caused by repeated vaccines.  Just look at what has happened to our over
vaccinated domestic animals...
