Dear listmates,

There was a recent post that people with CD also have too much of the protein
zonulin.  This protein permits excess permeability, allowing the molecules of
gliadin to escape the intestine enabling the formation of antibodies.  At
least, that is what I think I understood.

My question is this:  If the above assumption is correct, would it be
theoretically possible to develop a "drug" or "medicine" to block this
zonulin and prevent or cure CD?
