I understand that mono and diglycerides are supposed to be bad for us.
I also see receipes using Crisco. The ingredients list on Crisco says:
Partially hydrogenated soybean and cottonseed oils, mono and
diglycerides. Some products say vegetable mono and diglycerides. What
are they and are they bad for us?
