according to my research (books on physiology and talking to vets) less
is more. i notice stools are smaller, less frequent and more compact when
l-c/Paleo eating. this points to more efficient use of fuels, i.e.: less
waste. to compare with another omnivore - my dog showed similar results
when we switched her from a bargain food with mainly corn to a food with
meat as the main ingredients.

although most doctors will tell you that large and light colored is the
'norm', this is based on the typical american diet. i know lots of people
who get upset and run for the bran if they don't have a huge one EVERY
morning. most people i know who low carb/Paleo go from every other day to
once a week!

i've found that fiber becomes very important on Paleo, to keep things
moving you know, not to mention plenty of water.

take care,

rob
