JUSTICE & PEACE/CIVIL SOCIETY PROJECT MANAGER
SENEGAL

Catholic Relief Services seeks a project manager to: Serve
as the point
person in the development of a coherent peace and justice
strategy for
the country program's activities in southern Senegal and
Guinea-Bissau,
with potential linkages with The Gambia. Assist in the design
of an
institutional development support strategy for Church
structures and
organizations of the civil society involved in conflict
prevention/resolution and grassroots peace-building activities
in the
target geographic areas. Provide technical assistance to the
local
CARITAS organizations and affiliated in the areas of
institutional
development, strategic planning, program development and
management.
Assist the country program in developing an intervention
strategy to
respond to the rehabilitation and development needs in
Guinea-Bissau.
Requires: Master's in international development or related
field.  Two
or
more years of professional experience in the field of

development, social transformation or related field.
Experience with
conflict prevention and resolution would be an advantage.
Two years

strategic planning documents. Supervise staff. Monitor and
