G-L Community:
Happy koriteh to all! May we all be blessed with good health in the
coming year(s).

The position paper written on behalf of the Bantaba a week ago has been
well received by the community. It is ready(I have now edited it
thoroughly)to be sent formally to president Jammeh, leaders of
opposition parties and those listed on the cover page. Sending it
formally could mean a week or so to get to them in Gambia. The
president's will be addressed to The Quadrangle Banjul. As for the
others, names and addresses are needed. Please send them to me now, so
that all of them could be posted by Thursday, January 13.

This is also a good time to send in nominations for the "Group of 10"
after which I would send a letter and the position paper to them.

Ebrima Ceesay: Thanks for giving my name to Robin and Elizabeth. I have
already been contacted by the BBC for an interview tomorrow, Sunday. I
have agreed to it and I hope that it is ok. If New Africa wishes to
publish the position paper, I could send them the thoroughly edited
version. My home number is (513)523-8467. They can call me about the
details. Thanks to all and please send in the names and addresses.

Cheers!
Abdoulaye
