All commands should be sent to the mailing list robot address which is
[log in to unmask]

If you don't have a list of the commands, the first one which should be
placed in the body of your message is :

help

To turn off your mail temporarily, issue this command :

set vicug-l nomail

When you return from vacation, reverse this with

set vicug-l mail

Other commands which you may wish to try are

review vicug-l

This gives some info about the list and a directory of the subscribers.

To get a single message per day you might try :

set vicug-l digest
or to only get the headers and pick from these later, issue this:

set vicug-l index

To check your current list settings, use

query vicug-l

and to be removed from the list :
signoff vicug-l
