Subject: Come get help with Visual Basic 6

 Greetings,

Are you thinking about learning Visual Basic 6? Are you using
Visual Basic
6 but having trouble with some feature of the language, development
environment, controls or database access? Are you a VB or VBScript expert
 interested in helping others?

On June 9, 2002 the Visually Impaired Data Processors
International, VIDPI,
will be hosting an online seminar on the subject of Visual Basic.

What: Visual Basic seminar for all levels.
Where: www.for-the-people.com (in the VIDPI room)
how: Using your web browser navigate to the above web
site. You
may be asked to install the Chatter box client
software.
Why: Whether you're a beginner or an expert you can't
possibly
have no questions at all about Visual Basic
programming under
Windows. We can't promise answers to every last
question,
but we can promise answers to many and resources
for more
                         assistance.
         When: June 9, 2002 8:00PM Eastern time
         Cost: This seminar is free.

NOTE: If you are not currently a user of For-The-People, you are
strongly
urged to log on to their site and establish your account ASAP if you plan
on
attending this seminar. You will need a user id and password for
For-The-People and that may take a day or two to set up. Furthermore,
you'll want to practice using the client chat software which isn't
difficult
to use but your understanding of how it functions will help the seminar
flow
 more smoothly.

Visually Impaired Data Processors International is a
not-for-profit
organization which fosters the career development of blind computer
professionals, promotes the use of computer technology by blind persons to
improve the quality of their personal and professional lives, and
advocates
for improved information access for all visually-impaired people.

VIDPI is an affiliate organization of the American Council of the
Blind.

Looking forward to chatting with you all on June 9.

 Sincerely,
 John Mattioli
 Seminar facilitator
