According to the 13 July 2000 edition of the American Foundation for
the Blind (AFB)'s _Words From Washington_ newsletter, on July 21,
the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) will vote on issuing
regulations for video description. It is important that each blind
and visually impaired individual contact the commissioners to urge
them not only to include the vote on the agenda, but to vote
favorably for issuing regulations. In order to do so, however, you
MUST contact them BEFORE the close of business TODAY Friday, July
14.

You can reach the Commissioners by telephone or by email

Chairman
   William Kennard: <[log in to unmask]> or (202) 418-1000
