I get missing file messages, probably from old programs I did not
properly uninstall, when windows opens. This not a real problem, its
just garbage I have to close before I have a clean desktop. Also, and
probably from the same source, I have a lot of orphans in the registry,
and this means I really don't know what I am doing. I teied cleaning
things up with regclean and Nuts and boltss, and sure I know I'm just a
LITTLE illiterate when it comes to system maintenance
Is reformatting the hard drive the wrong thing to do?
And how is that done?
Should I try a different Windows utility?
I am not adverse to self-instruction with the right tools.
To those who respond and who have responded to my previous posts I thank
you VERY MUCHES
