Hello, well it's time to give my good old 2.1GB a rest and to go shopping
for a new hard drive. Any advice on brands, models, things of that sort. I
will be installing it in a system with an ASUS VX motherboard, Win95B. I'm
planning on going no higher than 13.6GB for price reasons. I have heard of
some problems with UDMA/66 drives on systems without UDMA/66, has anybody
heard of this problem and what brands tend to suffer from it most? I was
heart set on getting one of the IBM 7200RPM 2MB cache drives but they are
sold out almost everywhere and the few places that do have them want way too
much. I am aiming for the same specs in either the WD or Maxtor drives.
