Believe it or not, but the overwhelming majority of the exercise injuries that I
see are from:
1) Putting the weights on the bar
2) Tying shoes at end of work out
The back can usually handle bending in one direction pretty well. It's when we
combine several directions that we are most vulnerable to back injury.
