Yes, sadly most soy cheeses do contain whey and/or casein, and the soy cheese
used on Amy's soy cheeze pizza is not an exception.
I'm fairly sure Amy's soy cheeze pizza specifically states on the front of the
box: contains milk products. (I recall being particularly impressed with the
statement because it would eliminate any confusion for folks who expect soy
cheese to actually be free of cow's milk products.) And all the Amy's
products that have no milk derivatives whatsoever are clearly and reliably
labeled "dairy free" or "non dairy" - not sure of the precise wording there.
Amy's does have a no cheese, roasted vegetable pizza, however, that is
fantastic! Even die hard pizza lovers - like myself - should be pleasantly
surprised with the great taste!
