As for my daycare, it seems to be some state law, not having anything
to do with allergies; except maybe somebody some time in the past. I
remember reading excerpts from a bulletin of the State of Illinois
(don't remember the division) referring to this rule. The new or
reminder of the law came out a year or so ago.
