Ditto, Zenzele.
I also have a question... I am going to be visiting Zimbabwe soon. I
was prescribed Lariam for malaria. However, found out after-the-fact that
it and the generic brand Mefloquine both contain lactose and corn starch
(i'm allerigc to corn and soy also).
I spoke wth the nurse about my concern and she said that the Lariam would
be ok.
I believe I need to find an alternative. Any suggestions?
I have also spoken with a couple of pharmacists, but they haven't been
much help so far. I'm still checking.
