If it is marked kosher-pareve with an accepted hechsher (kosher mark), that
means there is no cross-use of machines.  If it was produced on a machine that
was ever used for dairy, it would have to be marked kosher-dairy.  I just
checked my fridge, and the Hellman's is marked with an OU hechsher (a U inside
an O) - that is a respected one that means there is rabbinical supervision to
ensure that there are no violations of kashrut.
