EXPLORING INTIMACY
What are your feelings about sex, disability and intimacy? How
can someone with a disability best enjoy them?
I'm presently doing a workshop on sex and disability. My
workshop is called EXPLORING INTIMACY. It is going quite well.
I'd like your input on what we should talk about. Of course, I
have each session structured, in case participants are too shy to
talk. But that has not been the case. The first session was
very lively and a lot of fun.
What are your thoughts on EXPLORING INTIMACY? Do you think
videos can help? Sexual toys/aides? Books like the KAMA SUTRA?
Are there ways someone with a developmental disability can better
understand and enjoy sexuality and intimacy safely? How?
How about partners communicating with each other before, during
and after intimacy? What are your suggestions?
And how about the importance of honesty and trust before you
become intimate? And finally SAFE SEX. All of these things need
to be explored and are being explored in my workshop. But I
always like to get input from you out there in cyberspace. Many
of you are lovers with disabilities. You've learned how to enjoy
intimacy. Now here's your chance to help others by sharing that
knowledge with my group.
Please only E-mail me directly so we don't clog up the lists.
