Last week the Wall Street Journal broke the story that the parent company
of Kurtzweil Educational Systems was filing for bankruptcy.  The company's
main product is a scanning system for the blind.  Remember that one is not
buying a product, but an access solution that includes support and a
relationship after the sale that includes being around to provide for
further needs in the future.
