You can disable/remove it from (System/Device Manager/Modems/Your Modem). If
you choose to
remove you should take the card out of the pc too.

You can enable your serial port in BIOS. Ports might be found
under Integrated Peripherals depending on your BIOS type.
You can access BIOS by pressing the necessary key after
powering on, such as the DEL key. If you haven't accessed
BIOS setup before, take great care in the changes you make.
